The ‘Play Your Part’ engagement exercise has now closed.

Thank you to everyone who took part. We have analysed all the feedback received and a copy of the feedback report is available here and information about the Council Plan 2020 to 2024 is available here.

We look forward to carrying on the conversation through more engagement on ‘Participate Now’.

The majority of residents in Cheshire West benefit from a good quality of life, strong communities and a relatively good life expectancy. However, on average, men live 10.4 years less and women live 9.1 years less in our more deprived areas. We also need to plan for more people living longer alongside the growing challenge of social isolation and poor emotional health and wellbeing.

Together we all play a part in enabling adults live longer, healthier, happier lives

  • How do you think the Council could make a difference?
  • What do you think residents could do to play their part?
  • Are there other groups and organisations you think need to be involved?
  • How do you think the Council should fund actions to enable adults to live longer, healthier, happier lives?

To inspire ideas we have listed a number of things we think we could do to make a difference, along with some suggestions for how residents could play their part. We have also outlined how we could pay for this over the next four years.

To find out more, please watch our information video, or read one of our enabling adults further information booklets.
