Lache Primary School
Over the last few weeks, we have been working tirelessly at Lache Primary School to ensure that all our families are safe and well.
The busiest job, for sure, is delivering school lunches to those on Free School Meals. We are so grateful to Mrs Lawson and Mrs Edwards for delivering them multiple times a week as it isn’t a quick job at all.
As well as lunch deliveries staff have been out and about delivering a range of different things to our families and even though we can’t hug or high five like we would normally do it is lovely to see everyone's smiling faces as we walk the estate.
In between all of this we have been cheering people up online with silly selfies and other fun videos of our amazing staff. Before school closed, we launched our own Bedtime Stories, which we are pleased to be carrying on thanks to our staff videoing themselves reading stories at home. (These are on our school website)
Another exciting thing that has been going on is that our fantastic Head Teacher has been doing her very own “Mrs Seager’s Just Dance” videos to send out to the children. The feedback on these has been incredible and she is becoming a YouTube sensation!
As well as this, the children that have been attending school (children of key workers) have been creating posters and cards for the residents of the local care home and little gift bags containing hand cream for the staff that are working tirelessly to keep residents safe.
Have you got a suggestion for a local workplace that could do with a cheer up? We love making cards to thank our local heroes. Get in touch if there is somewhere/ someone that you think would benefit from some of our homemade cards.
If you have any suggestions, then find us on twitter- you can also see some of our silly selfies and videos on there too!
