Milestone Mums

Sarah Finlay is the founder of Milestone Mums, mother and baby group in Ellesmere Port - it's a group for mums with mental health problems with babies between 0-2 years ran on a voluntary basis. During the lockdown Sarah has continued to stay connected to her online group, sharing ideas and tips for self care and wellbeing. When they meet at group face to face or online they talk openly about the highs and lows of motherhood and discuss ways to overcome the challenges and how to stay present and take notice on their mental health journey. Sarah has been given permission by the Countess of Chester Hospital to put together survival kits for mums bringing their babies into the world at this time. Sarah’s message is that you will get through this and that you can get better with the right help and support.
