Painting the town red, white and blue

What do you do to lift people’s spirits as we approach the anniversary of VE Day? Well, paint the fence at the British Legion red, white and blue of course!

I don’t think Banksy has anything to worry about as Cllr. Paul Donovan, Cllr. Peter Wheeler and Cllr. Christine Warner set about cheering up the fence with lively colours.

Local residents stopped to speak to us and cheer us on.
