Inspire Cheshire West has closed. Thank you to everyone who took part. Your contributions, stories, ideas and experiences about life under lockdown restrictions were a valuable resource to the communities of west Cheshire.

The Boaty Theatre Company

The Boaty Theatre Company is a local charitable theatre company with community at their core. Their new home "The Boat Shed" Creative Community Hub (108 Whitby Road) is situated in the heart of Ellesmere Port Town Centre and - despite these unnerving times - the Boaty Creative and Educational teams have been hard at work and are continuing to support the community through a range of remote services and interactive online programs, including various writing, drama and music activities.

The Boat Shed has also been designated for use for those needing to escape the risk of domestic violence and for childcare solutions for the children of key workers.

In addition to all of the above, the (small) management team for The Boaty Theatre Company have lovingly created an initial run of 100 FREE "Crafts for Kids" Activity Packs for local children at risk and from families of low income.
