Bridge Street and Watergate Street (including Weaver Street loading bay)

The access area starts from the rising bollards on Bridge Street, moving up Bridge Street towards Chester Cross, then continuing along Watergate Street, finishing at the traffic lights at the junction with Nicholas Street. There is also a loading bay located behind the shops on Watergate Street, on Weaver Street, which runs parallel to Watergate Street.
Northgate Street, Eastgate Street and St. Werburgh Street (also affecting St. John Street)
This image is a map showing the proposed areas for enhanced pedestrianisation being considered on Northgate Street, Eastgate Street and St. Werburgh Street. The access area starts from the barrier on Northgate Street opposite the Town Hall. It continues down Northgate Street towards Chester Cross and down St. Werburgh Street towards the entrance to the Grosvenor Shopping Centre. Then it continues along Eastgate Street from Chester Cross, past the entrance to the Grosvenor Shopping Centre to join St. John Street. Traffic access to St. John Street would also be affected from Eastgate Street.
Frodsham Street and Foregate Street
This image is a map showing the proposed areas for enhanced pedestrianisation being considered on Frodsham Street and Foregate Street. The access area starts near the top of Frodsham Street, at the junction with Victoria Place, with access allowed to supermarket car parks. It continues along Frodsham Street and then leads on to Foregate Street, continuing along Foregate Street, past Marks and Spencer, Primark and the Old Queens Head pub, finishing at the junction with Love Street.
