Background
Cheshire West and Chester Council has a statutory duty to ensure a sufficiency of Special Educational Needs school places.
The Council, in partnership with the school wish to permanently increase the number of school places in three schools, to enable the temporary increase in school numbers, established in September 2024, to be made permanent.
The Consultation
In order to continue to provide SEN provision for our local community, and the schools having successfully implemented this increase on a temporary basis, the Council and the school now propose to hold an informal stage of consultation.
The three schools included in this consultation are:
Archers Brook SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Residential School
Dee Banks School
Dorin Park School and SEN specialist College
