The 'Heritage Strategy' consultation has now closed.

The findings of the consultation and feedback on the key messages will be published here in Winter 2024-25.
The findings will be discussed by Scrutiny and Cabinet in Winter 2024-25, and will help to inform Councillor’s decisions as they consider the strategy.

A key aim for the Council is valuing and promoting Cheshire West and Chester’s unique and diverse heritage. This is also important to many of our residents, interest groups, community organisations, and other stakeholders.
We are creating a draft Heritage Strategy (called From Our Past, Towards Our Future) to prioritise how heritage organisations and projects are supported now and in the future.
We would like to hear your views on the draft strategy to make sure we are focusing on the right priorities.
