The Housing Strategy Engagement is now closed. Thank you to everyone who took part in the Housing Strategy Engagement. Your views are really important and what you have told us will be used to help shape a draft Housing Strategy. The draft strategy will be shared for public consultation later this year. We are developing a new Housing Strategy that sets a vision for the Council and its partners as we work to improve housing for all residents across the borough. We would like to hear your views.
The Council's last Housing Strategy ran from 2014-2020 and we are now working on a new strategy to take us forward running from 2024-2030.
We have already started gathering some initial ideas through workshops with Housing Associations, Homeless charities, adult and children's care, health, police and probation services as well as colleagues from teams across the Council. We want to make sure that we have captured all the priorities for housing and ask what you think we need to focus on to make sure housing in Cheshire West and Chester is fit for the future.

What happens next
Your views are really important and what you tell us will be used to help shape the Council's new Housing Strategy. Once the engagement is closed your feedback will be used to create a draft strategy which will then be shared for public consultation later this year.
