The location has been identified through observations by Cheshire Police and Council Highways Officers regarding driver compliance with the restriction. Vehicles entering the junction when their exit route is not clear can become stationary within the yellow box, creating delays for traffic approaching from Princess Street and other directions, reducing junction efficiency and undermining the purpose of the existing traffic management measures.
