We are pleased to share draft plans for Shotwick Park. These plans have been designed in response to feedback from the local community earlier this year on the vision for the site. We would now like to hear local community views on the detailed designs, to ensure that they enhance the site for the benefit of local people, nature and the climate.

How to share your feedback
You can come along to any of the following drop-in sessions to talk to the project team about the draft plans for Shotwick Park. These are informal events where you can drop in at any time between the times given.
Wednesday, 14 May, 3.30pm – 7.30pm at Saughall All Saints C of E Primary School, Church Road
Friday, 16 May, 10am – 3pm at The Vernon Institute, Church Road
Saturday, 24 May, 9am – 1.30pm at Saughall Farmers Market, The Vernon Institute
Alternatively, you can complete an online feedback form here, or email, call or write to us, using the contact details provided under ‘Other ways to take part’.
This engagement will be open online until Sunday 8 June 2025.
How your feedback will be used
Once this community engagement closes, the Council will consider the feedback received to help inform final plans for the site. A summary of the engagement findings will be published here alongside final plans for the site.
If proposals are agreed, ground preparation work could commence on the land at Shotwick Park in late summer 2025, in order to allow the first phase of tree planting to commence in winter 2025/26.
