Silly Squad Under 13s Reading Challenge
The Summer Reading Challenge is now closed.
Well done to everyone who did so much reading over the Summer and to those of you who attended our great events. For the national Summer Reading Challenge, click here. For details of what is currently happening in libraries, make sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
The Summer Reading Challenge encourages children to enjoy the benefits of reading for pleasure over the summer holidays. This year, the Summer Reading Challenge’s Silly Squad will celebrate funny books, happiness and laughter. The Challenge will run to mid-September.

Crafts and Jokes
Below are some ideas for some fun things you can make this Summer and some truly terrible jokes from library staff. Do you recognise any? And can you do better?
Feel free to post craft ideas or jokes below. This is just for fun so no prizes for this one apart from knowing you’ve shared a craft idea or made someone laugh (or groan!).
You can add text and photos to your post.
