In addition to the Strategy document (Statement of Biodiversity Priorities), there is a Local Habitat Map, which displays the opportunity areas for nature recovery and the mapped actions (measures) to help strategic decision making and to direct investment into nature’s recovery in the Cheshire and Warrington LNRS area e.g. Biodiversity Net Gain, Carbon credits.

In the below link, you will have the opportunity to observe the Opportunity Areas for nature recovery map and the mapped actions that will help to direct the best actions for the different habitats in Cheshire and Warrington. There will be a survey for you to complete at the bottom of the StoryMap.
Farmers and Landowners
In the link below, you will be given the opportunity to view the Opportunity Areas For Nature Recovery and find out whether you are in an opportunity area. After you have viewed the map, there will be a specific Farmers and Landowners survey for you to complete. This will be your opportunity to tell us whether you are happy to allow us to keep your land in contention for Biodiversity Net Gain or other investment into nature recovery, or that you are “not interested” at the moment as it is not part of the plans for your land for the next 5-10 years.
