Cheshire West and Chester Council is developing a new Climate Emergency Response Plan, to update the current Plan which was first drafted in 2021.
This revised plan outlines the key areas of work which will help to address climate change across the borough. Some of the proposed actions would be delivered directly either by the Council or partners, and the Council would support and encourage the delivery of others, which fall outside of its direct control.
We are keen to hear your views on the draft Climate Emergency Response Plan so that we can develop an inclusive and innovative plan that will help the borough to achieve net zero by 2045. This is a long-term strategy for the next five years (2025-2030).
We encourage our residents, businesses, partners and other key stakeholders to share their views on:
- The key priorities and proposed areas for action
- How the Council could work with residents, partners and businesses to tackle climate change.
Please share your ideas and views on the draft Climate Emergency Response Plan by Wednesday, 12 February, by completing the following survey.
There is a glossary available with details of the technical terms used throughout the document.
The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.
