Creating a bee-friendly borough

The Council recently approved a motion to establish a continuous bee corridor throughout the county to help support pollinators in the area. T

The Cheshire and Warrington Local Nature Recovery Strategy and the Council’s Wildflower Strategy sets out the importance of providing habitat for pollinators and this motion will support this work to ensure we are doing all we can to create species-rich wildflower meadows, which provide vital food for pollinators.

The Council will work with communities, parish councils, businesses, private landowners and schools to help us become a bee friendly borough.
