The Infant Feeding Survey is now closed, thank you to everyone who took part.

The findings from the Infant Feeding Survey were used to inform the breastfeeding chapter of the 0-19 Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA). The 0-19 JSNA focused on identifying how the health and wellbeing of children and families in Cheshire West and Chester can be improved, and inequalities in health and wellbeing reduced. Each JSNA chapter had a strong focus on ensuring that the voice of children, young people and families is central to the design, delivery and evaluation of service provision.

The findings of the 0-19 JSNA will help the Council and its partners to make more informed decisions about how we provide services to achieve the best outcomes for our residents. The breastfeeding chapter in particular will be used by Cheshire West’s Breastfeeding Strategy Group to inform future work to improve the infant feeding support available to families in Cheshire West and Chester.

We would like your help to improve infant feeding support services in West Cheshire.

In West Cheshire, we believe that every family should be able to fulfil their infant feeding goals and that the right services are in place at the right time to help families when they need it.

We would like to welcome ALL families who have had a baby in the last 3 years to share their experiences by completing our survey.

Your feedback will be used to understand how well services are working to support families with infant feeding and to help us make plans to improve these services.

How to take part

The survey should take around 15 minutes to complete, depending on which questions you choose to answer.
