Who is making a positive difference where you live?

All across Cheshire West and Chester people are making a difference and stepping up to look out for their neighbours and their neighbourhoods. There are over 50,000 local people who volunteer formally with local charities, schools and community groups and many more who help out without thinking of themselves as volunteers.

It's people that make a place special and the Council is grateful for everyone who plays their part in Cheshire West and Chester. We would love to know what people are doing to make that difference where you live. What's happening on your doorstep that you're grateful for?

What to do next

Tell us about a person or group who is making a positive difference in your neighbourhood by dropping a pin on the map. Include details of what they're doing and why it's of real benefit to your local community and area.

For example, you might want to mention a group or person in the community you are grateful for. However, please ask the person's permission before posting any names, pictures or personal details. You can add a photograph of the project or activity if you want to.
