Cheshire West and Chester Council is looking at Day Services for people with a learning disability.

Day Services are places where people with a learning disability can go to take part in activities.

We want to make Day Services better in the future.

We have worked with a small group of people with a learning disability, as well as their families and carers, and some of the people who provide Day Services, to come up with ideas to do this. You can find out more here.

More information

  • More information is in easy read here and standard text here
  • Adele, who attends day services, tells you about our ideas in the video below.

Before we decide what to do, we want to know what you think.

Tell us what you think

  • Take part in our easy read survey here
  • Take part in our standard survey here
  • Come to one of our events and talk to us - read details of our events here
  • Speak to the staff at your day centre - staff will be running activities within day centres where you will have the chance to say what you think. There is a toolkit to help staff talk through the ideas with people who use day services.

We need your answers by Wednesday 8 May 2024.

What happens next?

Your answers will help us to decide how to make day services better in the future. After we have listened to what everyone thinks, we will look at what people have told us and make a final decision about day services in the future.
