Inspire Cheshire West has closed. Thank you to everyone who took part. Your contributions, stories, ideas and experiences about life under lockdown restrictions were a valuable resource to the communities of west Cheshire.

Weaverham Helping Hands

I have set up a Facebook group called Weaverham Helping Hands. Also me and others from the group have put flyers through some letter boxes who we suspect to be elderly offering our help. We help a number of people now with collecting medication and shopping etc. Also I have arranged free meals delivered to some vulnerable people in the community from The Strong hold and St Mary’s Church. I do and online quiz on Facebook each Saturday night too. I am an NHS responder but had no requests so far. Jenny White

Jenny has done a fabulous job of setting up and coordinating this much needed service for the village. The team of volunteers do an amazing job every day of the week - Well done!
