The Council would like to hear your views on the proposed changes to the Healthy Child Programme in Cheshire West and Chester to ensure it provides the support that families, children and young people need, whilst making sure we are delivering cost effective services that will have the greatest impact. This consultation follows engagement with families during the Spring to gather feedback on current services.
The Healthy Child Programme (HCP) is part of the Starting Well service, which is currently provided by Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The Healthy Child Programme provides support for children and young people aged between 0-19 years (up to 25 years for those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)) and their families and carers across Cheshire West and Chester. The services are delivered from Children's Centres, in schools and in the community.
We would like to hear from people who currently use the services and those who don't to understand views on the proposed changes.
