The ‘Play Your Part’ engagement exercise has now closed.

Thank you to everyone who took part. We have analysed all the feedback received and a copy of the feedback report is available here and information about the Council Plan 2020 to 2024 is available here.

We look forward to carrying on the conversation through more engagement on ‘Participate Now’.

Climate change poses a massive threat to our way of life and we need to act. While government and international bodies take the lead, we can make a big difference locally. Our ambition is for Cheshire West and Chester to become carbon neutral by 2045 or earlier.

Together we all play a part in tackling the climate emergency

  • How do you think the Council could make a difference?
  • What do you think residents could do to play their part?
  • Are there other groups and organisations you think need to be involved?
  • How do you think the Council should fund actions to tackle the climate emergency?

Find out more

To inspire ideas we have listed a number of things we think we could do to make a difference, along with some suggestions for how residents could play their part. We have also outlined how we could pay for this over the next four years.

To find out more, please watch our information video, or read one of our climate emergency further information booklets.
